Checked out Comic Con to see the art, toys, characters & crazy costumes and support FREAKY DINKYS. I'm told it's like the anime convention but not as crazy.

EN JAPANESE BRASSERIE (435 Hudson St.)
Fancy Japanese eatery, good ginger martini, friendly service, intimate setting, nice & interesting variety of menu. For example, the 2nd image, you have what seems like a hotpot but instead of boiling hot water, you cook the meat in soybean milk. Then one of the desserts, I got warm sweet potato with cold ice cream, it sounds weird but it was so delightful!

TAKASHI MURAKAMI @ BK MUSEUM

DO believe the hype about Takashi Murakami. I wonder what it's like to be his mind, hmm? The exhibition was fun, silly goodness, inspirational, lubricating umm magical and oh so kawaii. The piece as you walk through the entrance reminds me of the piece at Rockefeller Center few years ago.

Well, milady & I had dinner but then Mr. Gandolfini came in from the back door with his pretty asian lady friend soon after. Holler. They sat opposite of us. I took a picture of my girl, he just happened to be in the background. The thing cover his face is the side of a menu the peeps between us were looking at. Don't worry, Tony, I'm not gonna blow up yo spot.


Okay, BAKED STUFFED CLAMS WITH BACON?? Paula Dean, girl, you gotta try this! We also got mussels with green sauce and shrimp & spanish sausage & peppers with rice.
